EcoVadis Medal – Award from the most reliable sustainability rating worldwide
In November congratulations were in order. The world’s most reliable sustainability rating acknowledged Wendel’s work in creating a more sustainable world.
The medals are awarded to companies who have completed the EcoVadis evaluation process and have established a comparatively strong management system which respects and acknowledges the sustainability criteria set out in the EcoVadis methodology (environment, employment and human rights, ethics as well as sustainable procurement).
Furthermore the company must fulfill certain additional licencing and administration criteria.
The award ultimately provides further incentive to continue to follow the path already taken – a path long started on even before sustainability became popular – and to continuously improve processes. For `whoever stops improving stops being good´. (Philip Rosenthal)
